GAME ON FRANK…….
I LOVE this quote. I have to say that William Morris is a person who has influenced the way I live, creatively. He supported the arts, and liked to have beautiful things around him. It was his believe that things didn’t have to be merely functional, but interesting to look at and interact with as well. A serving spoon can be a work of art~!
Beyond that, we can look up, look around, and find beauty all around us. Compare the color of a tree trunk to the sky behind it. Take a closer look at the inside of a flower. There are often sparkly stones inside of concrete. A drop of water can contain a whole miniature world~! When light shines through leaves, they look like stained glass. What an amazing world we live in~! It is important to our health to observe the world around us using as many of our senses as we can.
What do you see that is amazing in what many think of as the ordinary world? Teach us to see something new in our surroundings. Please leave comments~!

“I shall pass through this world but once. If, therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do, let me do it now; let me not defer it or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.” — Etienne de Grellet
“The goal of creation is to “glorify God” (see Ps 86:9, John 12:28; 17:1). God’s glory is the radiant display of the divine nature. As God’s life is poured into individuals and flows through individuals to other people, we individually and collectively “image” God…” ~Leif Hetland, Seeing Through Heaven’s Eyes
What a great quote. I get the simple concept, but this is really much bigger than it looks. I just started reading Seeing Through Heaven’s Eyes last night. This quote made me pause. I’ve reread the quote about 5 times, and I’m not done yet. This is something I’ll have to chew on. I love it~! Leif Hetland blows my mind. Hearing him speak years ago set a fire in my spirit that has not gone out.
What a lovely quote…. and probably within the grasp of each one of us~!
